HELLO & WELCOME TO PET SHACK WE ARE LOCATED IN SC
I'm a small breeder of Chihuahua's in many unique colors ,coats & Patterns. I specialize in the Merle coat in many diluted colors in both Long & Smooth coats. All puppies are well socialized & live right along us in a family setting. We are cage free and all moms wean their babies at their own pace NO Puppies are pulled early! No puppies leave until 8 weeks/2lbs for pick up or hand delivery, NO puppies leave on flight until 12 weeks old/2lbs and OK with vet. I offer a 72 hr "fit for sale" guarantee & 3 year Genetic guarantee on ALL my puppies I raise! ALL are CKC reg, will be UTD on shots & de wormed @ 2, 4, 6,8 & 10 weeks of age. I have plenty of references and will supply on request. All my puppies here many noises so are pretty fearless when leaving, after picking up your new puppy please go straight to vet or to home DO not take to Pet Shops, dog parks, or visiting until he has had at least 3 sets of shots. You new puppy is safest at home & needs to get adjusted & to your rules at home. Remember what YOU do in the first 24 hours is VERY important! If you are going to kennel train then start this from the 1st day home, as I do not kennel this can be a stressful adjustment for your new baby, let him/her cry but reassure them you are their & it is OK to have time out in his/her little space. They need RULES like a child! Chihuahuas are small but give them a chance & they WILL take over your home, give them boundaries. They love to sleep in bed & be with their owners all the time, if you take them everywhere & let them sleep in bed as a baby they will expect this ALL the time. So you decide where they are to sleep first night you bring your new puppy home. ON My recycled pets they are either from local shelter or been brought to my shop to re-home, either way they will leave me a well assured & adjusted dog. I will keep them for 2 weeks to evaluate their temperament and what type of home would best fit them. The Fee is to cover spay or Neuter if they are not fixed , if they come to me fixed the fee is a $50 donation to help with saving others. From time to time I also will save a litter of Mixed breeds most of the time they will be a large breed , the fee for them covers their de worming, shots & upkeep Which ever you decide here at Pet Shack we stand behind the dogs & puppies that leave us and are here 24/7 to accept any questions or issues you may be having with your new addition to your family.

Accidents happen and "MM" is a result of one & why 2 Merle's should NEVER be bred together PERIOD! Carmella is a Fawn Chocolate Merle and was not to be bred until next season ,well my Diablo had better Ideas and jumped the 2 gates and it was to late they where "hooked" , I called my vet to see about abortion shot & he told me it was to dangerous to let her have the puppies & we would go from there. Two months later Carmella had her beautiful Litter of 4, 1 Blue Tri , 2 Blue Merle's & 1 White with a few spots of Merle at this time I knew she was the one to watch & have checked out. Carmella although was young did very well with her new babies and they turned out beautiful , sweet & loving. "MM" had all the signs of the MM X MM breeding , I knew she would most likely deaf & showed the signs of maybe some sight loss. I had homes for all of them and one very special one for "MM" to a lady in VA that was suffering from pain and had just been diagnosed with a crippling disease & knew that She would give "MM" the most loving home and would help "Tammi" also. I emailed "Tammi" and told her what my plans where for her , to Give her this special baby , Tammi knew from the start and days after I saw the breeding that if I had a "special Needs" baby I was going to give it to her but she would have to drive to NC to meet me , well when litter was born Tammi was one of the first to know and this is when "MM' got her name Tammi Named her after "Marlyn Munroe" for her striking white fur. "MM" is now 8mths old and is doing very well and is so loved, I have lost a few friends off of FB because I choose to give her to "Tammi" instead of selling her to the few that begged for her. I knew what was best and who needed her as much as MM needed her! Her is her picture, and shows how much her mom "Tammi" loves her, also Tammi's mom has taken in 3 rescues from me that where in need of a home ... her mom now has a house of 5 Pom's! Awesome people!  Lady Bird "Tammi" writes ;Yes, she's very healthy, no doubt. lol She is completely deaf and the eye with the patch has tunnel vision at best.. that seems to have actually improved and doesn't dart as bad. All I can say is this.. if you ever find another one like her, I'll take it. She's absolutely wonderful. ♥ |
